Welcome to Perch Campervan

We’re Andrew and Deb and this is our hand-crafted completely unique campervan. Lovingly built (99% by Andrew) to make travelling around New Zealand your home away from home.

Our camper is big enough to be comfortable and well equipped, but still be small enough to be nimble and easy to drive.  We’ve handcrafted our camper to make you feel right at home in Aotearoa.

Large motorhomes are fine for some, but we don’t see the need to have a whole house on wheels. Equally small vans are ok for others, but there are many small vehicles in NZ which we think are too small for an enjoyable experience. Cooking outside may look ok on a nice day, but cooking outside during cold rain isn’t. 

We think our van is not too big, not too small, but just right!
